About the Barbados Equestrian Association
Who We Are & Our Mission
The Barbados Equestrian Association (BEA) exists to build, encourage, and advance the continuing development and progress of equestrian sport in Barbados
The Association supports the growth of equestrian disciplines at all levels, from grassroots participation to international competition, while promoting horsemanship, sportsmanship, and the welfare of the horse.
Our MembershipThe BEA currently has approximately 110 active members, including:
- Competitive riders of all ages
- Family members
- Non-competitive members
- Honorary members
Our members support the Association and remain actively engaged in the development of equestrian sport locally and regionally.

The BEA is governed by an Executive Committee elected by the membership.
